Seventy runners competed in the third annual Insane Terrain race on the E&A Rail Trail and area land. The 5K is a fundraiser for the Elkin Valley Trails Association (EVTA). The top runner was Aaron Combs of Jonesville who finished the race in 21:34 minutes. Robert Ball served as coordinator of the event and is a member of the EVTA. Read more in the Elkin Tribune.
