Nine Elkin Non-Profits Receive Grants from W-S Foundation

The Elkin Advisory Committee of The Winston-Salem Foundation recently recommended nine grants totaling $31,700 to nonprofits serving the Elkin Tri-Counties region. These grants support programs in the areas of arts, education, recreation, health and human services. The Elkin Advisory Committee is comprised of 10 local community members one of which is Robert Ball with UnderdownBall.

Arts and Music Enrich Elkin

Two organizations that enrich Elkin and surrounding areas are the Foothills Arts Council and its associate member the Elkin Valley Fiddlers. Both organizations recently received grants from the Winston-Salem Foundation.
